I sold mine a month ago with 147K on it, it was still in perfect shape and running well on the stock clutch, motor, transmission etc. Just basic fluid and a radiator swap at around 100K. I bet it will run past 300K easily.

I knew I should have replaced the tires at 320,000 miles....

 

Also, the owner probably spent the equivalent of an entire two years of his / her life in that car. Sad demise.
