To check out the quality of the knob engraving now being done, I visited the shop doing the latest batch of Team Voodoo knobs, which includes both new orders and returns from some who were dissatisfied with the previous engraver

Next, respectively, spun aluminum, polished titanium, and spun titanium, all with the S2000 logo around the circumference.

BTW, the engraving is deeper than the first batch produced by Joe Portas, which is probably apparent in some of the photos.

From this point forward, we

I got an engraved Ti with the S2000 logo from your first shipment. The engraving is fine but I would like to be able to paint the logo. Can I exchange for the new one?

yellow2001,

No that's the stock size and we think bigger would not be better.

BAD S2K,

No set screw. We do our best to align the pattern (we have a shift shaft assembly for this purpose), but in some cases, blue loctite will be necessary.

In case you are concerned about the loctite solution, I can testify that it works just fine. Just make sure you use blue, not red. Red requires heat to remove. With the blue, it won't come loose in normal spirited use but you can force-release it if needed.
