I GOT THE MUFFLERS!!!

OMG! They are freakin' works of art!!

I hope they look as good on the car as they do off the car.

I already made an appointment for my custom Spugen installation. They will be fitting, and fabricating all of the piping, and I wouldn't trust anyone else to do it! Tomorrow at 11AM, the secret mufflers go on.

Later today I will make a sound clip with my OEM system, and after the new mufflers are installed, I will make another sound clip, using an identical technique.

After it's in, I'll post pics, and spill the beans about everything!

I almost bought a pair of these titanium mufflers but am glad I went with my dual 'Trapps. These might have looked sharp on the Suzuka though.

Russ-

Those are very nice cans!!

I don't care for the rings with those exposed rivets, but the extra blueing is sharp.

Not quite as sharp as mine (IMO)!

I made the OEM sound recording, and I painted the ends of the silencers black, so they would be ready for the installation tomorrow. It was too dark to take pics, by the time I finished.

I'd love to run them without the silencers, which are nothing more than a stainless cap, with a 1 3/8 inch tube running through it, but I'm sure they would be quite loud. The silencers fit really tight, and they are kind of hard to get in and out, so I'll just put them in for now. It would be more difficult to do it, once they are installed. Otherwise, I would definitely get a sound clip with them open (2 1/2 inches, straight through).

I'll take pics of everything tomorrow- before, during, and after the installation.

Wow! It's been a very long day for me. I got home too late to take pics, and when I was at Spugen, I accidently left the camera on, and when I got it, to take some pics, the battery was dead.

There are still a few details that I need to work out, and I will explain everything later (probably tomorrow).

Let me say this now- the exhaust system looks absolutely fantastic!

I can't thank the guys at Spugen enough for the custom installation. They worked on it for around 4 hours.

Duc, from Team Spugen, came back to the shop in the early evening, just to see the finished product, and hear the sound. If I remember correctly, he told me that it is the best looking exhaust system he has ever seen, on any car!

I was blown away, when I saw the finished product.

I promised you guys that I would post pics today, and luckily, I took a couple of pics of the mufflers before I left the house this morning.

The can and tip are still wrapped in plastic:

Check out the beautiful welds:

I'll get more pics, the sound clips, and all of the details up ASAP.
