Technical Service Bulletins
Does anyone know where I can go to view the TSBs for the 2000 s2k? I've been seaching this site and the internet and I can't find where they are posted that doesn't cost money to view them.
Also, if Honda when Honda issues a TSB is it treated similar to a recall? Meaning, if your car is experiencing the problem described in the TSB, will Honda fix it for free?
Thanks

This site requires you to pay money to be a member in order to access their list of TSBs. Luckily www.s2kcarolinas.com lists them for free here.

To get a TSB issue taken care of, you need two things: First, you need to convince your local Honda service manager that you have the same problem identified in the TSB. Next, you need the Honda service manager to agree to fix the TSB issue for you (for free). Just because the service manager agreed that you have the issue does not automatically mean that s/he will fix it for free. Some managers will insist that you pay for the service -- but they know what is wrong and how to fix it. The key to get the service manager to agree to fix the problem for free is your relationship to that Honda service department -- if you have been a loyal custimer, they will usually do it for you. If you are new to them, they may charge you for the service. Also because TSBs are not warranty items, you can get TSBs taken care of long after your warranty period is over.
Good luck.
the key is you CAN get them fixed after the warranty.
it is ultimately the warranty rep's call. The TSB places absolutely no obligation on honda.
you can even get non-TSBs fixed, too. It all depends on the relationship. Pick up a used MY00 and ask them to fix your clutch, and they will tell you to get lost. Have them do a few services on said MY00 and they will at least humor your request.

You can also go to the Alldata site at:

I think they recently started a subscription service though.
