this is why it isn't such a good deal right now:

and the OP lives in Texas too. He should fork up another 7k and buy a brand-new one.

just pay a little more and you can get yourself into an 04.

either way the car is still 5 years old.I normally don't even keep a car that long let alone a performance car...it's your decision.

03+ only comes with tan interior though. A little more is like 4-5 grand for an 04. Thats a lot to me, not a little more

Are you only looking for a white/red AP1? If you could settle for another color combo, you could probably find one slightly cheaper. It just depends what you want. To me, I wouldn't pay over 16k for that car because I absolutely HATE red interiors on these cars. If you love it, then you may want to buy it...

I'll be putting mine up for sale soon once I get some good pictures taken (my camera got stolen). 2003 w/12k miles, $22,250. So 21k for a car one year older with a few more miles isn't bad assuming it's in the color combo you want.

yea, i know that if i was buying during the winter. i could get a better deal.

I'm looking for white for sure. I really don't like the tan that much, but if i can find a good deal for one local, then I would pick it up.

Havent been able to find a white one in texas for under 23k. Thats my budget because I'm buying a hardtop too.

its pretty much down to 02s with red interior or 03-04s with tan.

I think the tan is uglier than the red for a sports car.

honestly my opinion on this kind of stuff is sure you can get a better deal. However the car is in excellent shape and that alone to me is worth the little bit extra. Honestly if its exactly what you are looking for and are comfortable with 21,000. Who cares if someone else can get it for a 1000$ less? I paid just a bit more for my car I noticed then some people did. However I was confident in my purchase because the car was so well taken care of, And to this day have not had a single problem with it. So it was worth it for me.

I bought my Sebring Silver MY02 with 11.4k miles on it in the same condition for 21.5k. However I bought mine from the car's 2nd owner who bought it as a cert. pre-owned from honda meaning the 5yr warranty still stuck with it till nov of '08.

You have 3 things going for you in this deal. Low mileage (very low), allegedly maticulously maintained, and it's the color combo you want.

Go for it.

I second that. If it's exactly what you want, get it!

Just to compare. I bought my '02 with 48,500 miles for $18,900.

I'd go for it.
