from the very first time a saw an s2000 i wanted it, bad. i remember going the store late one evening and stopping at the mag rack. thats when it happend. i picked up the december 99 motor trend with the life changing cover. it said"vette threat?" under that title was a pic of a NFR passing a yellow vette on a track. i said, " holy cow, honda what?"

i bought the mag and after reading about the 2.0 liter 240 9k redline i decided i must have one. at the time i was 16 and driving a 93 pontiac grand am. v-6 mind you. i was shagging cars at my dads dealership after school, for 7 bones an our. not s2k funds. so i saved for the next five years, 200 bucks of my paycheck went into a seperate savings account. after going through about 15 or other cars, everything from mustang to civics to an 850T5R, but the s2k was always my dream car. i am hondaphile, so the s2k was my golden egg.

on july 10th, 2005 i took delivery of a 2002 berlina black s2000. 27k on the clock one owner all the records. it was showroom. i took the money i had saved, which had amounted to 11k cash, slamned it on the table(cashiers check) and watched the saleman cream his pants and then promply discount the price 5k.

we're coming up on our 1 year anniversary. its been great! i am so in love!!

s2k was one of my three choice in 2003. didnt get it, played it safe with a 325ci. got bored with that. decided to check what i can lose on a trade in one day in feb 04, wasn't serious. got the deal i wanted. 6hrs later drive off with new car. instant gratification.
