Default TERRIFIC S2K LEASE DEAL

We just returned from Chicago where GRAND HONDA (1-800-NEXT-HONDA) advertised in the Sunday 6/10 "Chicago Tribune":
05 S-2000 at $315.00 per month plus sales tax for 36 month lease with $500 total down and 12,000 miiles per year. Residual is $19,862.
I think this is a terrific deal!
No I don't work for any Honda or any other car dealer.

what are you guys getting for your lease deals. I am trying to negotiate now. The honda advertised special buy me is 3960 down 299 a month 36 months 12k miles. 2500 of the 3960 is cap cost reduction. I do not want to pay more than 30k for this car. Right now with the cap cost the car is goin for 31,833. I dont think its too much for me to ask for that 1833 out of the downpayment. They should be happy to move these cars now....sales are down and the 06 if coming out will be out in a couple of months meaning the 05 depreciates a year in a matter of months.
