Nice article...thanks for posting it.

This caught my eye:

"The company plans to offer a passenger air bag cutoff switch, pending government approval"

I hope they have a dealer installed retro kit!

He's saying a gear indicator and radio station preset number should be displayed on the gauge cluster? What is this, a Buick?! You need an indicator to remind you which gear you are in?

A blasphemy to sports car ideology.

A good, fairly balanced artilce.

I am curious about one thing.

How come this 2002 S2K has a 9.1 cubic foot trunk and mine is about half that? Am I missing something or did he swap the spec's of the Boxster here?

I thought it was a good article, except the part where he wanted the radio channel to be displayed among the gauges on the dash???? Are there any cars that have this feature?

Of course. I believe Audi and BMW have something similar to this. Also, what about the Heads Up Displays on the Corvette, Grand Prix, and other GM models. It may not show up in the gauges but you can still see what station you are on without having to look down at the radio.

Another nice find. I'd love to see the gear # shown. As for the radio, nay... who needs it -- the radio.
