^^Most likely, still as a peace of mind...When you do get an S, Flush the tranny and diff fluids along with an oil change.

Maybe you can get a testdrive for an hour to hour and a half to get the full feel of the car after its warmed up properly?

Good idea but not for $20,788 with 3 questionable tires where I have to split the cost of a new matching rear ;-)

Similar story on dealers being out of touch with reality. Went to look at an 07 Silverstone/Red-Black with hardtop and 7000 miles at a local Lexus dealer last weekend. They were asking 25.5 and with all of their fees it came out to 28.6 out the door. As nicely as possible, I told them that the market will not sustain a price like that for these cars. I also smiled as the salesperson indicated that the it was business as usual at the Lexus dealership and that the car's price would go up soon with the warmer weather. I offered 20k out the door after informing the salesperson that I could buy a leftover 08 for their out the door price. I am expecting a call in a few weeks after they sit on the car for a bit.

I think I saw that one posted online. Is it in Tennessee? If so, it looks like a pristine car but that price is far too high.

I have an '06 SS red/blk with 6500 miles which will be off lease at the end of May(with maybe 500 more miles by then). The residual will be $19,700 but since I am not buying it, it will likely auction for much less. Someone will get a nice car. It is amazing to me how some dealers are operating in this economy. I can't even get a quote on an 09 lease at the dealer I leased my current car from...

I personally think an 07 red/black with 7000 miles and a hardtop is worth at least $22.5k before TTL.

I'd definitely pay 19,700 for a SS/Bl+Red with <7k miles like that provided it was stock and pristine. It's a shame these dealers are dillusional with their pricing and it's also a shame that private sellers (who seem to have the nicest cars) also are asking prices above what the market will sustain and then if a price can be negotiated, its harder to get financing for a private sale.

Audacity update: I looked on Autotrader this AM and the dealer (who hasn't called back yet) RAISED the price of the car by $400. I'm wondering whether they replaced tire(s), or they're just that stupid/ballsy.
