The main reason I would like an AP2 over the AP1 is there were several TSBs on the 00-01s....I would want to know those were taken care of.

Realistically, if everyone on here is honest with themselves, you can't go wrong either way. There are some AP1s out there right now that can be had for CHEAP.

If I am understanding you correctly, the gap between the rear tail lights and bumper is a common problem from the factory.

Not to mention that if there were TSBs (Technical Service Bulletins) then those issues have most likely been rectified on the vehicle.
