test drove a cr today
hi guys i test drove a cr today that was pretty much brand new 4k miles on it for 25k... The car seemed to have better suspension from the regular model... The only thing was the engine sounded a like the valves were messed up and it idled at a little above 1k rpm... Also when i drove it i dont know if it was the cdv or my driving but the clutch was slipping very very bad when i was driving a little harder. I was wondering if those things are normal??
thanks for the info yea when they first started it up it was around 2k but after it was fully warmed up it was still around 1k to 1100... it was kinda going up and down over and over by itself i searched for it in the search function and it seemed a few other have seen this before also

CR is noisy and rough, and stiffly controlled on the road compared with the base S. If you like that pure track car feel everytime you drive your car, then the CR will be sure to satisfy. Slipping clutch and uneven idle point to issues. As reliable as these cars are, for a CR to have issues means that the owner really really abused it, IMO.
