thanks for the feedback guys yea when i drove it it seemed alright i guess im just worried about the long term effects because im planning to use the car for a long time. Yea i was wondering if the clutch was slipping because the cdv?? Does Cdv really make the clutch slip or delay that much? I test drove a 06 s2k and it seemed fine when i shifted a lil harder.

i dono what cdv is but slipping clutch on a car with 4k miles means the moron who owned it probably never drove stick before and probably rode the clutch HARD. and let me tell you, the clutch will slip probably in every gear once summer hits. overall i would stay away because from the slipping clutch i know it was either driven by a noob that didn't know how to drive the car and messed it up or driven hard like someone mentioned.

how do i know this? my car clutch slips in the summer because i learned to drive manual in my car on a brand new clutch. (so i guess it was properly broken in) in the winter it's fine though. so yea just look for another...i've heard of people getting cr's for 23k.

What is the condition of the rear tires and are they origional issue? With only 4k mikes the treads shouldn't have much wear unless there has been a lot of clutch dumping.

Good suggestion. Bear in mind though that the CR tires burn faster than the regular S2k RE050

Where is this car from? Is it the one in midway city that is GPW? I've looked at that and can guarantee you its been in an accident. I didnt even need to open the hood to tell. The lip was torn at the attachment points on the bottom, the lip color was slightly off, and the fenders and bumper were missing its vin numbers. Also if you look at the connecting point between the bumper and fender you can see they didnt remove the bumper to spray so the paint sticks between the two body panels.

Oh and the tires are all re050 not the re070 they come with.

and yes the car ran roughly. I have no idea how the dealer is going to sell this but i've seen worst cars on that lot and apparently they've sold.

Wow, that is good detective work. I guess it's a case of "If it's too good to be true, it probably is."

But, technically it does have a sunroof.

I saw an apexi blue CR go for 23000 fyi. It had 8k miles on it but was in great condition. I was just to stubborn b/c i wanted black and red interior on gpw to buy it. i was the one who put up the thread about traveling across the country to get what i wanted. There are better deals to be had is my point so keep looking!
