I have never worked on a car before and I did all my mods.

Intake, Header, Testpipe, Exhaust(twice +others cars), Thermostat, Fanswitch, Hondata Gasket.

While the last three were very hard. Changing the intake, exhaust, testpipe, and header are extremely easy. Anyone can do it. I would think that anyone who has paid for it to get done must have a lot of money.

DIY?? Ive read on SOO many posts ppl having issues, or problems, possible exhaust leaks, ect.

You've "DIY" for all your mods homie??
Well "homie", the only mod i haven't done myself was the clutch/flywheel. If i would've had a beater to drive at the time i probably would've attempted that myself but since the S is my DD, i just paid someone to do it for me. I can't afford to have my car on jackstands for too long. however my other mods i've done myself (TP w/anitfouler, intake, stereo, voodoo knob ). If i had the equipment and knew how to weld i would've done the mufflers myself too. I did my brother's exhaust on his EP3, i did the intake on my friends CL-S. I did too many mods to list on my mustangs and my SVT Contour......not to mention 20+ complete stereo installs for friends/family and i do my own maintenance.........so yeah, i consider myself a DIY type of person. yet i also consider myself novice at best.

I don't see what's so hard about doing a TP and exhaust. I'd bet the hardest part are the three bolts pressed into the cat on the exhaust side. Those nuts can be trouble. A chimp could probably be taught to install a TP + exhaust on this car (hell, probably most cars).

I understand some people would rather have someone else do it or just don't have the time/space/tools to get the job done themselves. This is why i suggested that you see if anyone in the socal community could help you do the install....you know, help save you money and you get to meet people too boot. Just a suggestion my friend. good luck!

If you only have a cat-back exhuast and intake you should not get a CEL.

I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do with your money. Because if I had the money to throw around I would love to pay people to do stuff for me. Just trying to let you know that intake, header, test pipe, and exhaust are very easy installs. Each can easily take less than an hour with 2 people. Little more by yourself
