Wow I wonder how many pounds of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) a person emits. Wouldn

I agree.

How lame do owners have to be to heavily pollute the environment in exchange for a mere 6-8hp. Whoop-ti-do. I'm honestly glad that your gas mileage has gone down.

The "one car having a test pipe won't hurt the environment" is utter crock. If everyone used that argument in different aspects of daily life, we'd all be pretty screwed. The cat is there for a reason, leave it in.

Aww you hurt my feelings, I better go put my cat back on.

As for a change in gas milage, its not because of the testpipe...It could be a million different things but its hardly that. A testpipe will make the car run a tad leaner. Leaner = more gas milage if anything.
Wait a second call me crazy but doesn't a test pipe make your car run richer?

Go ahead and rationalize it however you want, it's selfish. Not really practical to kill off the cow population, but Honda provided an LEV sportscar w/ a minimal sacrifice to performance. I'd be happy if the EPA subpoenaed the test pipe manufactures customer lists to identify and fine/jail their customers (plus them, since they're liable as well for selling a product which they know will be used illegally, regardless of the copout of calling it a "test pipe").

Nobody is suggesting trading your S's for a Prius, taking the bus, or other big sacrifices (though I also would love it if cigarettes were banned)...just that test pipes do more harm than good.

How about we stay on topic, and the topic is not your opinion of people using TP's.
S2KI would probably need a few less terabytes of storage if everyone stayed on topic!

[QUOTE]What color is your Prius? What? No Prius? Do you walk to work, the grocery store, your friend's/relatives houses? Smoke cigarettes? Eat red meat? Churn your own butter? Fart? Burp? Is Green Mountain Energy your electricity provider?

... from my earlier post:

"A dairy cow annually emits almost 20 pounds (9 kilograms) of smog-forming gases known as volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
