some exhaust that does not have the harmonic tube... is louder then ones which does have it...

i was told that a test pipe would reduce the droning around teh 3-4k rpm range...

would a header take the place of a test pipe and reduce the droning as well?

sat in a 07 with a tracy sports exhaust with oem header and the droning was very annoying.

sat in a 05 with a amuse extra titan with berks header and there is absolutely no droning. actually it is prob. produces less noise then the tracy sports.

so would the 07 produce less dron if a header was installed?

just curious.... and i know installin header would increase db's... but its the droning that i am more concerned about.

installing my Mugen header didn't affect the exhaust sound at all really. it just adds a slight hissing noise that you can only hear when in an enclosed area. the test pipe is supposed to kill the drone too, but over time i find that my HKS+TP is starting to drone like my Invidia without TP did....
