Is the stock resonator not a straight through design?

Please post pics so we can see.

 

i wish i had the stock resonator.....which i dont anymore and i never did take a look into it at the time.......

i guess i can just cut out the section....the same size as the resonator, tape the gap off with aluminum tape and put a 2.5 inch band clamp around both ends so no air leaks yet stays.

Did this before with my talon hahahaha.....just thought if anyone else had any other ideas.

 

ok guys....* sigH * i put the resonator back on and STILL is making the rasp noise!

The only thing i could think of is actually just buying the megan TEST pipe WITH the built in resonator. I'm gonna try that.. If that doesnt work, I'm putting the cat back on! GRR!

OH does anyone know if the no name ebay ones are any good? they look the same!

 

just buy an exhaust. the hks sounds good and can be had for cheap

DAMMNIT! hahahaha..

I had an exhaust! thats the thing! I purchased the Turbo mafia one. It sounded GREAT! it was the 2.5 inch piping with dual magnaflows with ONE resonator. LOUD and the drone was Killer!

Since then i took it off......put the oem back on...deleted the resonator and put a test pipe with/no resonator. no its RASPY!

Ok ok ok .....................how about THIS as an idea...

Get the Megan Test pipe...WITH the resonator built in......leave the resonator that is in the exhaust now from turbo mafia... ANNND.... just cut off the OEM mufflers and Weld the Magnaflows on!!!! yeah?? yeah?? wutcha think???

 

HEY GUYS! is there a difference from the ebay brand and the megan? besides the price and name? hahahah

 

I'll buy that cat. converter if you don't want it, for cheap though...HEHEHE
