Can someone provide a sound clip or video of a test pipe and stock exhaust? I just wanted to hear the sound before I purchased one. Thanks.

I put an Invidia test pipe on my04 while I had my Skunk2 exhaust and it sounded so ricey I drove it 10 miles and took it off the same day. Some people like that sound but it isnt for me.

 

I had the test pipe for a day before I installed the t1r exhuast. it was very raspy, good thing the exhuast eliminated the raspiness.

 

i had one on my invidia and its sounded so deep and mean under 6k in vtec it sounded so ricey. so i took the cat back off and left the test pipe on with the stock exhaust

 

eh, imo testpipe with stock exhaust sounds pretty ricey when you let off the gas (makes a civic raspyness).

Of course, it makes the raspyness on pretty much all exhausts because the cat acts like a small resonator. However, the rasp suits some exhausts more then others.
