like $10,000 or something if you get caught running a testpipe.

Just leave the single cat in. There's no point to removing it unless you're heavily boosted.

Use the money for stickier tires. You'll go faster that way.

T1R exhaust comes with TP, and I'd definitely run TP if possible. Their o2 fix works perfectly fine and I have never had any CEL issues after going through 2 T1R exhaust. To be honest, the gain isn't exactly negligible either. TP will give decent gain for its price.

At the end, we're all talking about chances here. If you wanna risk, go for it.

Not worth running the test pipe couple G fine for 5hp or less gain which one cannot feel is not worth it. Besides it is fund raising season= more citations for any little thing...

yeah 5 whp is risking a $1000 fine but it's up to you though. pros versus cons. the high flow cat is the lesser of two illegals...

Wow, there's some misinformation.

They can fine you up to $2500 for not running a CAT. I've looked into this a year ago or so for the project I'm planning for the S(Boost). Would like to get the least amount of restriction to make to most amount of power. If you notice in my Sig, all my upgrades have been towards suspension/brakes. Haven't really touched the motor except for the CAI(which was an accidental add on due to my friend letting me borrow it and I ended up falling in love with it).

I'm also in Cali.

If your goal is to be some kinda tuner tough guy by running a test pipe, it's cool. But if your goal is better street performance, there are better alternatives than a test pipe.

Personally I started with more fiber in my diet.
