Default Test pipe vs. hi-flow cat

I am wondering if anyone knows what sort of difference (peformance and sound) there is between a test pipe and a hi-flow cat.

Also, are there any hi-flow cats produced for the S2k? From what I'm finding it seems that there used to be a couple, but none I found are still in production. I saw mentions of Comptech and Magna Flow/Car Sound units, but neither has a listing for one on their website.

Funny!

I actually thought the testpipe and a high flow cat were the same. I had a "high flow cat" before, can't remember who made it but it was loud! It shot some flames out once and a while .

I have the Berk Technology Test Pipe and love it. Gives the car an awesome sound. It makes the exhaust sound louder no matter what exhaust you have. It will also give you some HP gain

They have a group buy going on right now too.

Some have claimed a few whp increase with a testpipe, but I think that even more important then a few hp is how it makes your exhaust sound. My testpipe definitely changed the sound of my exhaust for the better.
