I have the HKS without a test pipe and it sounds fine.. Just before this setup, I had the Invidia with test pipe...

Since the test pipe is illegal, has a pretty strong smell which can easily be picked up by a cop if pulled over, throws a CEL light (even when I had my O2 sim), and dooesnt make a noticeable difference, I am against having it on my S..

just my .O2

You are right its a federal law.
But does he live in the US? The flag under his name looks south of the equator, but I'm just guessing. Of course you can't ask about test pipes without a trolling for a few green people, not that I would ever run one, I'm happy with the high flow honda cat.

He was saying that there was no state where it was legal, so I was assuming that he was from the US.

Invidia products are built great. They have nice welds, they are stainless, and priced cheaper then most. How can you go wrong? Just don't forget to pick up some spark plug non-foulers so you don't trip a CEL.

The OP never mentioned a state, it was a followup. I was just pointing out that an Aussie isn't in any of the Federally Covered United States. I know I was nitpicking. Its half the fun of posting.

nope, don't live in the US. We don't have any laws against testpipes here.
