hey guys, i'm looking to import a car from texas to canada. Just wondering if texas has daytime running lamps on their cars?

or is it standard in all states to have daytime running lamps?

any help would be appreciated.

What model year are you looking at? DRL's were not available until 2006, at least here in the US.

 

There's not going to be a difference between states as everything is regulated by the fed, usually through agencies like NHTSA.

From what I understand, any S2000 that is 2006 or later will have DRLs. I have an 06 and it has DRLs. My 03 did not.

 

I believe there is a guide on how to mod them with daytime running lights.
