Thank you Nick and Rick! Now, Royal Purple?

also that vtec racers here swear by that stuff...
also..its purple...has nice packaging and smells like fruit punch...
what could possibly be not cool about it?

Well I'm not that enthusiastic about the stuff. I've not been able to see a real difference between it, Motul, Redline, or Mobil 1, with the exception of the color. Like I said earlier, the reason that I like NEO oil is the ability to blend from a 0w for those of us interested in running a race engine with very tight tolances and looking for that extra bit of power.

Love royal purple. Stuff is really indestructable for a street driven car, used it in my mustang for 2 years and no trouble. FRom what I understand it never breaks down chemically, such for people like me who own classic cars and never drive them we can avoid the c=hanging of the oil ritual every 6 months and just change the filter every 6000 miles or so and add a extra quart. (At the rate I drive me 914 thats like 12 years)

yes traditional dinasour oil does retain water. Synthetics do the same, I preform a Italian tuneup on my car every 3 months or so to burn off all sorts of stuff from the car sitting around.
tolance is a spelling mistake made by people like myself when they are typing sleepy and to tired to press the spell check button. The phrase we are looking for is "tight tolerance". This might help.
