I agree....Richmond makes Mustang Gears..... My mustang has 420rear wheel horsepower, so I would think they should stand up 153lb ft of torque

i think the only consistent way to break them would be the sidestepping trick.......

I was referring to the test of time. If the 4.57s seem to hold up to punishment on FI S2000 applications, then that would be the proof.

if all of the gears Rick's sells are forged and are of better quality, when why the drastic price drop to match gears of inferior quality?

i mean, if they're just straight up 4.77 no polydyn. wouldn't it be a no brainer to buy the forged ones? but why drop the price to match "cheaper, less quality" cast gears offered by kia?



i'm still confused on whether all of the gear sets Rick's sells are forged.

None of the gears are cast. All ring & pinion gears are forged. The gears Rick's sells and has sold, are these exact gears. There is just a cheaper supplier now.
