My official registration documents say 240kmh max speed. I've hit 260kmh indicated, once.

passing semi-trucks at 200+ is something that's quite common around here with our unlimited Autobahns It's all in the driver education, and a bit of luck.

a bit of luck The drivers that Ive seen in my measly 7 years of driving are enough evidence to convince me that you cannot rely on other driver's training and luck aint gonna help at that speed. On a stock setup the slightest jerky movement at those speeds would have them cleaning you up with a hose.

Despite Turbo Dave's screen name, I believe the car was not turbo; instead he took advantage of the significant down-slope. Also, assuming stock tires and gears (which I think the car also had), mathematical top speed is about 165mph. Since his tach was flashing for a while in 6th gear, we'll give him an honest 165.

God. I keep looking at that video...
For anyone who has done speed runs; watching this guy (near the end of the clip) get ready to pass another truck at 280 Kph...WOW

to change from Km/Hr to MPH just take Km/hr x 0.6 = mph
