Under extremely hard braking and cornering, the fronts will wear down too. Although they're not as bad as the back, they still need replaced.

for everyone who has 9000 on thiers, with plenty of meat left, dont be fooled. i had that too, then at 10,100 i looked at my tires, and thought it was the wrong car, because they were TOAST!!!!

Now im getting a set of Motegi 17 in ch gunmetal grey split 5 spokes, with tires for $400!!!!!!

What a deal. the front tires are 90% and the rears are more than 50%.....cant wait....pick them up tomorrow morning.

How long after the backs are gone until you have to replace the fronts? Do they wear pretty evenly? I don't drive hard at all, but can't afford to replace four tires at once . How many miles to the average front tires last if you baby drive ?

Being the season champion in our novice class Speed Trials might have something to do with it .

I have 13,500 on my original set of S02s and will likely not change them until about 16K miles. This includes driving the card hard regularly and 2 track sessions.

Anyone know if Tire Rack still have the SO-2's for the rear? Their website doesn't list SO-2's for the S2000 anymore. It looks like I will have to buy SO-3's for Christmas but I will call Jim first before I make my purchase.
