Default Is there a problem???

I ahve noticed on several occasions that when I start thge car after it si stopped say around 2-3mph, the car shakes violently. I am almost certain that it is nothing to do with m clutch catchin. It feels as if there is no fuel going to the engine or something (injectors?) Anyone have similar problems with this or have an idea what this mught be???? Thanks

Your talking about when you let off the clutch and it looks like your just learning how to drive right? Actually, that's kind of normal, just as long as it doesn't do it every time. Mine does it when it's really hot outside or when I'm stuck in traffic.

How do you start the car if it is stopped and going 2-3 MPH at the same time?

I've experienced the same thing Rob. This appears to be prevalent in S2000s that are still equipped with the stock air induction system. If the car is subjected to any scenario where there isn't sufficient air flow under the hood, the underhood temps get to the point where the engine bogs upon take off. The only way I can get the car going again is to rev the engine a bit before trying to release the clutch.

I almost expect the car to stall but it never does. Have any of you had it completely stall after the shaking? I have I/E/H also.

Same here, Rob. It does happen on occasion, especially when I've been cruising at high speeds for some length of time, and then suddenly I'm in bumper-to-bumper traffic. Kind of embarrassing, sorta, when people look over at you and it appears I don't know how to drive a stick.

I'll admit that it doesn't do it as much now that I have intake, exhaust, and vented hood. But then again, it hasn't been terribly hot here lately. We'll see how it acts when the temps out here start to hit 110 and I'm sitting in traffic.
