Is there something wrong w/ my Comptech Exhaust?
Everyone,
I just got my car back after the dealer performed the gear grind, clutch, and spark plug TSBs.
For some reason, my exhaust now sounds stock to me w/ a slight power loss. Before, the system was quite loud and refined. I went on a test drive with the mechanic and he seems to think everything is fine. Is there anything I can check to see if my exhaust is ok? I'm kind of new to this so I could use a few pointers. Comptech said there could possibly be a large ding or crack in the piping somewhere.
Any insight on this subject is greatly appreciated.
Thank You and enjoy the drive!

Removing the tranny for the gear grind and clutch job required the lowering of the engine. This required the disconnection of the exhaust system at some point - most likely where the header joins the cat. Perhaps when they put it back together something got damaged, misaligned (gasket) or some foreign matter fell into the opening at the front of the cat.
Thanks for the info xviper. I will give that some thought. How do I get the dealer to inspect this is the problem.
I thought about that, but it sounds totally stock right now and I know the Comptech system should be pretty loud.
