Default Are they feeding me the bull.....

I called Honda today and was wondering about the TSB- 054 and TSB-055. I have a MY00 and they said that they might not be able to cover this under warrenty because 3 year might have been up.... But i have the extended warrenty for 6 years 160,000 km covering engine and tranny.

My car only has 32 km on it and i just bought the car form the same dealer that i talked to about this issue..

Are they feeding me the bull...

That should be under warrenty right?

I didn't think TSBs fell under warranty-period restrictions. A recall is a recall, no?

My opinion is that it should be covered under warranty. It's not a recall, it's a service bulletin, big difference but should still be covered under your extension.

055 superceeds 054. According to the TSB, the normal warranty applies. If the warranty has expired, you may be eligible for a "good will" repair but it has to be approved by the district service manager or the zone office prior to work being done on the repair.

Not sure if "normal warranty" excludes the extended warranty, but I think you'd be eligible for the good will since you jsut bought the car.
