It's not elegant, but I put felt under the plastic seat belt guide many years ago (as suggested in another thread), and that did the trick. More felt behind the guide than in front of it. But my squeak only seemed to happen in humid weather. Do you get it all the time?

It is quite humid here at times. Never really paid attention to the temps or humidity for when it happened. I am probably just going to do the felt thing or the soft side of some Velcro.

My felt is starting to shred and I like your alternative. Odd I hadn't thought of that beacuse I used fuzzy velcro on the passenger side panel where the seatbelt buckle knocks when no one is in the seat.
