Smile THIEVERY!

i walk back to my car... turned on the radio and all i hear are static.. i thought it was jus the parking structure, but on the streets.. still hear static.... then i got out to gas up.. and i notice that my antenna is missing!!! that jus ruined the night for me...
i heard these antennas cost $$$ so people steal them and sell them?? so if any one got an xtra one pls let me know before i go to the dealer.
by the way, this happend at a burbank parking structure... the least expected place to happend.
all i gotta say is that... THIS SUX MAN!!! seriously!

Here's a link to buy one. It's $17.09 and that's propbably much cheaper than the dealer will charge you. People steal them because they think they look cool and they're too cheap to buy them.

That really bites. Some people have actually put some locktite on their antenna to try to deter such thievery. Good luck.

Does locktite interfere with the signal at all?

Gotta watch out for thre 350z owners too....my friend bought a new one, didn't like the antenna and one day when we were at the mall, we came out and there was an 04-05 s2k parked next to him. He tried to steal the antenna with out me noticing and i literally made him put it back and called him a scumbag. It's not our fault other car companies cant make a good antenna! Also, my friend with a GTI bought an s2k antenna off ebay haha....i guess they are nice antennas.

I used Gorilla glue to keep mine in place. No problems what so ever with static....
