Default Think it is time to change spark plugs

I am thinking that I need to change the plugs (27k on the odometer, and I am a fan of changing every 30K). I am just not sure what plugs to go with, it is either going to be the NGK platinum (stock), NGK iridium, Denso IK22, or Denso IK24. I know there is a diffence in how the plugs will run (some colder some hotter), and I think that anything iridium is going to be an upgrade from stock, I am just not sure what the diffences are in the iridium plugs.

Can anyone help out with some technical advice and maybe a recomendation on which ones to go with??

I have just always changed all of my performance cars at 30k. I don't mind spending the $. I will take a look at them though and see what I think. I just thought I would have other ones on hand if I decided to change them.

Spark plugs are just like valve adjustments though, you can always go the recomended service, but there will usually be some benefit a good bit prior, even if it is not significant.

yea stock, but driven

I have heard of some changing to the Denso plugs because they run cooler and they claim better performance during hot summer temps (which is mostly when I drive). I am really interested if anyone brings this up, which is sort of why I started the thread.

30k is really early. The s2k isn't just any other performance car. It's a Honda.

But if you do change, OEM is what you should get unless you are turbo/SC.
