Thinking About getting into an s2000
I would definitely make the switch. Who cares about driving in traffic? I sure don't. I've had my s for two years now and approaching 100k miles and have had 0 problems. Make the switch and enjoy the car....
Thanks for the comments guys,
No the car isnt stock
Its dropped on ksport coilovers
aftermarket 20inch rims
and bodykit etc
But As for traffic where im at there is alot of stop lights.
but not so much as car to car traffic.
it will not be parked in a garage but a closed driveway.
I really like the turbo but i really like a s2000
so right now its just a hard choice
also im 5'10 and 165 will there be any problems for me to fit in this car?

You'll fit fine. The car will be perfectly reliable if you find a good example. These things typically don't have any issues if they are maintained properly. If you get an AP2 you'll avoid all of the little early production quirks like cracked retainers.
If you boost the car you'll need an aftermarket clutch at some point (unless you are running extremely low boost and have a newer stock clutch). At that point you will have to be careful with how you drive the car. If you launch it with that kind of power regularly you'll probably break your stock rear differential. You can always upgrade to a PuddyMod differential for something like $1500-2000ish and then avoid that issue also.

ah. ,makes more sense.
those rims are very nice but it wouldnt surprise me if they were BMW stocks. they always come with great looking wheels.
I am 5'10" and weigh 170, I fit perfectly and have plenty of room.
Free advice: I hate the S2000 in traffic. The car begs you to drive it, and constantly changing gears while fighting other drivers/stop lights takes away from the enjoyment of the car. I love having a DD to take to work.

agreed.
im about 6' 170lbs.
perfectly comfortable in my car with a little bit of room left to slide back some more.
the only time i have trouble is at some stop lights.
absolutely LOVE my car.
i rarely drive in traffic though so i cant complain about that.
S2000 is the best car ive ever owned.
ive owned other sports cars including a 93 FD Rxt, 98 Integra Type R, as well as luxury cars but the S wins hands down.
its not the fastest thing on the road but i gurentee you its the most fun.
the whole community aspect of S owners is also a wonderful perk of owning one.
S2000 owners for the most part are very friendly and we def have our own little community.
it almost ALWAYS turns heads too.
x2... At first I hated driving in traffic but after a while you don't even think about it as it becomes something you just have to do and it just comes naturally. Its funny so many people complain about driving stick in traffic because when I went to Europe this summer everyone drives stick in the city traffic and no one complains lol.

its not as bad as b20vtec
Could go either way on this one. Most people would consider this a con but I wouldn't give up my S as a DD and most of my driving is city with a 3 mile commute. Again, you need to consider your preferences rather than rely on comments that may or may not be relevant to you.
Maintenance isn't really that bad IMO. Regular fluid changes, frequent alignments and frequent tire replacements (particularly the rears) are a must but it's probably better than maintenance on your BMW.
Reliability... well, it's a Honda.
Comfort: also subjective. Again, test drive. It's not a one-size-fits-all thing. I've taken several 3,000+ mile roadtrips (not in one stretch) and have no complaints regarding comfort but YMMV.
