Default Thinking of Getting a s2k

Currently i have a RSX Type S 2002
I was thinking about getting either a used or new s2000.

It will be a daily driver. I live in Edmonton Alberta Canada and winters come early with lots of snow.

Would you guys say this car is amazing, and i could handle it in the winter?

I had a celica 2000 b4 my RSX

I also drive manual.

If you need more info just let me know
thanks

Bridgestone Blizzak Lm-22, Around $600.. depends where and what kind of deal you get.

Drives very well in snow, Just don't whip around turns.. Obviously, It's RWD.

Drive carefully.

Yeah I say if you can afford it why not. A few canadian members drive it in the snow. You just need proper tires and common sense. I say go for it.

No one knows when the next body change is... But it certainly isn't 2005 ;p

2004+ has 8kish redline while pre04 has a 9k redline

i don't mean to offend, but exactly what about the s2000 appeals to you?? it seems you know very little about this car, so maybe your reason for wanting one is not the right one. an s2000 is very frisky to begin with, so unless you know what you're getting into, driving an s2000 in the rain or snow may be more hazardous than what you'll be comfortable with. if you just want a sporty 2 seat roadster, then how about the audi TT roadster?? that car will be great for your neck of the wood throughout all seasons. i personally would not recommend an s2000 for the rain or snow unless you are an experienced rwd driver.

Learn more about it.

alot of people were in this forum months before they bought the car.

Research is the key so you do not waste money.

well RWD was one of my reasons to not get the car
cause where i live its like 70% winter
may not be the best option.

but i really want a small sporty, cockpit car.

i only like imports

I know a decent ammount about the s2000 its not that quick but its all about handling.

I dont like the audi TT
