how about the z3 then?? you can find z3s that are the same price as s2000s. z3s are fun and intimate cars. they may not be as performance oriented as the s2000, but there is more than enough performance to satisfy 85% or the people out there. on top of that, z3s have traction and stability control which are good safety nets for novice rwd drivers. also, depending on your power craving and needs, there is an assorted choice of engines to choose from--all of which are fairly torquey compared with the s2000's.

well RWD was one of my reasons to not get the car
cause where i live its like 70% winter
may not be the best option.

but i really want a small sporty, cockpit car.

i only like imports

I know a decent ammount about the s2000 its not that quick but its all about handling.

I dont like the audi TT
ahem. the S2000 is plenty quick enough. if it wasn't, we wouldn't be having the problems with "Street Encounters"
anyways, if you guys get that much snow and cold weather, you might want to think of getting a hardtop too then. more practical.
not looking to the first winter in this car in that uninsulated soft top... oh well.
