For my 05 AP2 I am toying with the idea of spending $6,000 on a Full-Race turbo kit + $500-700 on tuning + another $4,000 on suspension and drivetrain upgrades.

just think of how much fun the S2000 is...............................
now think about if it had 550-600RWHP
Everything is cheaper m/x wise with the S2000 and to have an NSX is nice but not when 4 door sedans can keep up with you, and modding it is too much $$$$$$$$$$$
I am spending a lot of money to "Re-turbo" my car, I probably could have just gotten a used 04-05 Viper for 50,000 however the S200o will be faster and the insurance will be cheaper
Either way I would get a Viper over a C6...............

Why buy a supercar that is insuperior to its competitors? Keep your s2000 and buy a real sportcar down the road! Thats what im doing! Ill have a 500whp s2000 and viper in my garage one day!

A 3.2 (Na2) nsx does to 60 in 4.6-5.0 seconds and 12.8 - 13.0 on the 1/4 flat, that is not "slow" by any means, specially considering you are "only" @ 290 HP leave alone you can get all the way to 170 like nothing, the ideal is to get a 97-98 (around 36-45) and SC it (11-12K) that can make anyone with the need of speed happy...
but all depends your budget ..
a SC S2k also sounds fantastic and it's so much cheaper, i wouldn't mind getting a 01-02 s2k again and SC it ... as well I would avoid 91-96 nsx's since the 3.2 + 6speed makes a big difference stock.
If I was the OP i would stick with the S2k and SC it, or if I had a 40K budget + the S2k yeah i would move to an nsx.
