Those with clear headlights...
OK, I know there has been alot of discussion on getting parking lights that closely match the HIDs without being blue. Someone had mentioned some of the hyper white bulbs that match nicely, but they were blue in color. I think they were experimenting with spraying them silver or something. Can anyone help me find either a bulb that is silver in color already and shows up hyper white, or tell me what they used to disguise the blue tint to the readily available hyper white bulbs.
The reason I need these is because I have the clear difusers and want them to match the HIDs at night, but I don't care for the blue shadow that shows through in daylight. Part numbers and or a webiste would be apreaciated if they are available in the US. Thanks in advance.

Since no one has replied, let me. I have been looking for the same thing as well. There is a JDM bulb that has a light mirrored coating on it. There was a post not long ago with pic's of the amber version of this bulb installed in cleared (no diffusers) S. They looked pretty good. The only place I found online to buy them would have been $20 each for the turn signals(7440) and $20 for a set of markers lights bulbs (194).
But I installed the blues ones and painted them lightly with silver paint. I don't like the way them look when lit. The light is "broken" by the paint and not as clear as it should be. the color is right, just not enough light as there should be. I am going to clean the paint off, and live with the blue for now. it is not that bad, but is just bugs me and the removal and installation of the bulbs is a PIA.

You should look into a white LED array bulb. They light up without any yellowish hue, and have no color to shine through in the daytime. I haven't looked into them for myself, so I can't name a great source for them offhand. More and more people are selling them nowadays, though.
Well, I did some serious searching and I think I found something. It is an LED like Qube was talking about. Here is the link:

They have a crap load of lights, and they do have an LED amber version of the 7440 too. Just do a search for Honda and a list comes up with all the lights for our cars in all different colors and styles. I am going to order them and see how they look.
