so my cmptech was getitng dirty....I know you can clean it and put it back on, but I had a perfectly new comptech intake sitting in my garage and was oiled up also. This was the $50 something one on comptechs site. I assumed it was for the comptech CAI. I think it was for the s2000 stock air box now that I looked at it more...but it fits perfectly into the comptech icebox. The only diff is that the original comptech intake was green was a lil longer with a hook at the end. This one is blue with no hook at the end. Was it ok for me to do this switch or should I havew stayed with the original comptech?

Ii oiled it up pretty good but i wasnt able to soak up every s pot which im sure isnt to big of a deal, so i need more oil. where can i buy this from locally instead of through comptech?
