Default For those with hardtops...

Does it reduce cabin noise quite a bit? I would assume much of the wind/road noise with the convertible top up would be lessened. I am just curious before I actually decide to get one

Here in La. it is way too muggy to drop the top.. at least for me. So a hardtop seems like a good idea

yes it does reduce the noise alot, and it makes your stereo sound much better.

I really want to get one as well but I can't decide between OEM or Mugen.

The FRP is the same price as the OEM so it makes for a tough choice.

I might get the OEM top. Here in Florida, it's too hot to put the top down in summer. What does Honda get...about 3 large? I'm doing a little stereo work too. I've ordered the 8 disc CD player from Honda. Someone told me it was an Alpine.

Chitah, let me know if you go through with the htop. I've been looking into this for awhile now also. The wife wants a house first but you know us S owners, we want them to look purty NOW! Maybe her seeing another silverstone w/htop may be the swing vote. Keep the community updated.

Road noise abatement aside, I have noted that the hard-top keeps the car more rigid over expansion joints and train tracks.

Riz2k, I will! We should meet soon also... I'm about to move to NO

You can understand how unbearable it is to ride with the top down in the summer! Besides, it rains everyday anyway....

Convertible tops are nice... my favorite is just cruising with the top down at NIGHT or on cool mornings. I am just not a fan of the heat. Guess I'm just not much of a convertible guy...

But damn my exhaust sounds nice with the top down!
