I'm the same way, at night and in the morning its a blast, but by noon its too freakin hot.

The noise is greatly reduced, esp. if you have a loud exhaust. I agree with everyone above that posted about the heat thing, I never drop the top if it is above 85-90.

I have the OEM hardtop but for the opposite reason than most of the previous posts (too hot.) Mine is mostly off from April till Oct., then is put back on for the cold weather or when I want a quick change in appearence. With a helping hand the top can be put on/removed in about a minute.

The OEM hardtop is good. Even though I'm in Maryland (great country roads with high speed curves), I still can't take the heat, so I use it for heat releif. But the best part is that is really does boost my Alpine 150 watt amp with Boston Acoustic z series stock-mounted system. The sound is unreal, without going thru the drama of a subwoofer in your trunk space. The amp bolts nicely in the side of the trunk space. (sorry, got off on a rant and changed the subject)
