Those that have done the AP2 taillight conversion.
I bought the conversion "Kit" from hardtop guy and i read on a post that there is a mistake in the directions, does anyone know what this mistake is?
Second, All I recieved was a template (For cutting), instructions, 2 pieces of metal, and 4 connector clips... in the instructions it talks about new sockets, was the "kit" supposed to come with new sockets?????
Third and finally, does anyone know how to get the metal pins out of the old "pigtail" and into the new connecter, I am having trouble..
Do ijust pull them out? or do i have to destroy the origanal connector?
EDIT: Thread im refing ... https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...0&#entry4405351
" Got no problem with the tailight wiring conversion?
I actually did for the turn signals and it blew my fuse. But I got it fixed now.
HTG sort of gave the wrong instructions for the signals. biggrin.gif Other than that, it works perfectly fine.

if anyone can answer even one of the questions i would be happy. If you bought the kit from hardtopguy was it supposed to come with extra sockets?
How do i get the metal pins out of the old connector and into the new connector, as it is not detailed in the instructions?
