Never had anything like that happen but if I did I would fold the screen down. Just remember to put it back up before lowering the top.

Yep...happens all the time to me. I need to adjust the angle of the windscreen...but I have superglued the rubber vibration bumpers to the roll hoops so I am not excited about having to move them.

This happened to me, too. Had to move the bumpers so the screen rests at a different angle.

HINT*

Don't use superglue. It melts the plastic roll hoop cover so when you lose one, or have to move it.......you have a stupid mark. I tried all sorts of adhesives until I found the BEST stuff. Ready?

Silicone glue - shoe goo - whatever you wanna package it as. You know, the clear drying rubber glue. It FLEXES under the strain of the aeroscreen hitting against it at freeway speeds, AND if you need to reposition the bumper it leaves absolutely no marks.

Try it...........you'll like it.

Hockey

p.s. I've had mine installed for over a year and the bumpers don't pop off at all - unlike when I used anything else.

Thanks guys - the angle must be the issue as I just super glued the bumpers on the roll hoops this past saturday

the bumpers aren't going anywhere

Don't worry guys. Superglue is too brittle. With some good freeway speeds, they should come flying off and fall into the passenger's seat within a few days. After re-applying a few times I began my quest for a "proper" adhesive. That's how I found the silicone glue solution.

Surprising. The superglue I used would fail as soon as I hit about 75mph. The screen would slap against it and pop it right off. I could easily gauge the adhesives because most would fail within 30 seconds of high-speed abuse.

Well, keep silicone glue in mind for the future. The stuff kicks booty!
