Crown Honda in Chapel Hill has a rather small parking lot IMO, don't know about the other local dealers

 

Leith Honda and Autopark Honda both have virtually no room.

While I'm at it, maybe you guys could help me out. I'm about to go get on the list for a 2002 and I'm wondering which dealers (if any) locally are my best bet as far as getting it for sticker. I'd rather not go out of state unless I have to.

Capital. I worked my deal directly with the sales
managers. No middleman salesperson!!!

MSRP should be no problem!!! You could do better!! I'd try and weasel a 7/100000 warrenty

 

Crown Honda in Chapel Hill has some room, and I dropped by there today to inquire about their willingness to host an event. (It was funny, I pulled up in the viper and the first salesman out said "You're not going to trade that are you?!") I spoke with a manager and he said he wasn't the authority for it, that it might be interesting, but to put a proposal together in writing directed to the General Manager who was not in today. Does that sound like it's worth doing? Anybody done that before? I'm assuming we'd want a rough headcount to include in something like that? I'm thinking about just trying to talk to the General Manager another day about it...

The extended warranty 7/100k/0 deductable is "worth" about 900- the lowest price I've seen posted is $880. Since you can get it from any dealer, if you can buy the car for less than 900 below MSRP, do that instead. Otherwise, by all means, go for the HMC extended warranty.

I am a new S2k owner here in Durham. I'm in for any kind of event. Oh, and my buddy just bought a new Viper GTS...he'll probably want to come along and look at what he missed out on. Hehehe....okay, I really don't think he's jealous. That's one amazing car. It's great to see some people getting together in the triangle. Looking forward to seeing you guys.

I've got a yellow S2k and I live here in North Durham. Every once in a while a see another S2k, but not that many. Saw a white one at Northgate Mall the other day. First time seeing a white one. Still looking to see one with the rear spoiler on it. Been thinking about ordering one, but would like to see it on the car first. I think Boyd Honda in Oxford will give you the best deal on a new one. Bought mine for $1,600 under MSRP a few weeks ago.
