Default For those with suzuka blue

For those of you with suzuka blue, how "blue" is the interior? I have not been able to see one in person, but have heard rumors that interior doesn't compliment the exterior. Curious as to what your comments are, thanks in advance.

The interior blue actually works quite well with the exterior it's a fairly subtle tone, so it's not overpowering at all. You have to see it in person though photos haven't done justice to either the interior or exterior colors.

With top up, the whole interior seems almost dark blue, which isn't overwhelming at all.

With top down, the blue colour stands out but nothing you can't handle. It isn't light blue, but deep and subtle.

Like Silver & Black says, photos do not reveal true beauty of it. See it in person

Hope it helps

I was going to post some pic of the blue interior....but just like others said, photos do not reveal true beauty of it, so please see it in person, the most easy and direct way to find out you like it or not.

I love the blue interior, I think it match the exterior blue very well.....yes, blue interior is very close to black interior in the dark...

the blue interior DOES complement the exterior. there's nothing bright or obnoxious about it - the tones are deep and mellow. i like it and just about everyone who has seen it thinks it fits. of course, a few are like "is this the only interior option?". remember, tho, that you're asking owners - we wouldn't have bought it if we hated it. i got used to it and don't notice anymore. the exterior color, on the other hand, i haven't stopped noticing yet (that's a good thing).

I was like you and not sure if I would like the color combination. I had one on order for the longest time with the clause that I could change the color if needed. It wasn't needed. I've loved the color from the time I bought it.

It's one of those things, you will either love it or hate it. But you have to judge for yourself.

Just had to write you about my Suzuka Blue!

I am just finishing my residency training and had always planned to buy a C5 convertible. A freind on mine purchased an s2000 last year and after talking to me about it I went to look. The long and short of it was that I went to the dealership at 5pm on a weekday -- the evening before I was scheduled to go on a 10 day trip out of the US. Needless to say they happened to have a Suzuka Blue on the floor and I fell in love with the car and the color immediately. They were going to ask $4,000 over sticker (just for the color option), but due to low demand (winter time) and dealer stock they were willing to sell at sticker. I put my money down and essentially bought the car without ever driving it. I know it may seem weird to some that I bought this over a C5, but I truthfully could not be happier with my choice.

The color seems to get a lot of attention, and people who have seen it seem very impressed by the car. The leather is quite dark with the top up (almost black), but definately becomes a navy blue with top down. I think there is no better combination. Hope this helps.
