Looks pretty good in person. . .

 

I haven't had much opportunity to drive my car...the weather is getting better though, but I'm keeping the miles down until my wheels arrive early next week, but I did have a chance to take it out for an errand and while walking back to my car, a woman was staring at it from her own...just a few feet away. I'm not sure how long she had been there, but her car was running and she didn't seem to be in any hurry. As I was approaching my Suzuka, she said, "I was going to leave but I just had to tell the owner that is the most gorgeous car I think I've ever seen." Needless to say, following an awkward, "thanks!" I barely was able to get my head past the pillar and into the car.
This truly is a color better appreciated in person. JPEGS just don't seem to reflect the depth of the finish. It tends to change hues at different angles, sometimes almost looking as if there is light violet in the paint. As nice as I think the exterior looks however, it was the blue interior that sold me on the car. If it had come in black, I would of held out for a White/Red model. I just wish it had come with the Euro version top (blue).

 

One thing that is a bummer about the color scheme though.... Honda hasn't released touch up paint for it yet... or at least that's the story one of my local dealer is giving me. Anyone else tried to get it?

I honestly bought the blue just for the blue interior. It's different and it's a perfect compliment to the car. I would not have it any other way.
