Default To Those With Upgraded Final Drive

I'm in the process of getting my entire differential replaced under warranty. The dealer is waiting on parts for the moment. I spoke to my dealer today about replacing my final drive with the 4.44. They said that they would get back to me tommorow morning with their verdict. To those of you that have it, I would appreciate if you could respond to this thread with how many miles you've had it on your car for, the type of driving you do and any mechanical problems that you've had with it. My goal is to show that there is no downside to this modification that could cause harm to my car. If you could also post the goods that the new final drive has, that would be great! Thanks in advance!

I think it was the best mod that I did besides my SCer . I've owned it ever since January of this year and not yet a problem . There has been no downside for me as far as performance , but mechanically the speedo is off and odometer reads 8% more than the actual miles you drive . Some company carries a solution for that , the device is called "Yellow Box" and couple people on this board told me it really works . It's one of those mods you do for your car that you feel the difference right away , trust me you'll love it !!
