Default Those of you with Carbon Fiber Trunks

Thinking of getting a carbon fiber trunk lid. I am wondering about fitment and rattles. I don't want one if it makes noises. What has been your experiences? Thanks

Yea' but if I get those gloss black le28n's then I want more dark pieces to match up. All these mods are just to tempting! Can't help myself.

Depends on what brand you buy from, fitment isn't much of a concern neither is rattling. However weight savings would be marginal overall.

My trunk fitment all right but it nothing to crazy I have the VIS trunk though. I seen the Seibon trunk also but there trunk is not that great either. Maybe it just how the trunk is molded, because from what I seen on the board from other board member fitment are pretty good. My trunk doesn't rattle I think partially it because I have the trunk spring still on there. But I have to watch out when I pop my trunk because it comes up real quick.

The reason why it springs up real quick is because it's much more lighter than the OEM one. You can fit a spoiler to prevent it from "flying up". The OEM truck springs are designed for the OEM truck weight. Unfortunately there aren't lighter loaded springs, only heavier.
