No problem after 1yr and 3mo. However, it may depend on the climate you are coming from. I could see this potentially being a problem if I lived in places like So. Cal or Florida. Top down 365 days with the sun beating on the interior would take its toll. Seattle has its months, however, it's no southern sunny climate. I also rarely park my car outside, with the top down, for any lengthy period of time. So, for me I'm not terribly concerned.

Sounds like he was trying to con you into buying one of his silver and black models.

Just wondering where your getting your Silver/Red at? The reason I ask is because I'm also looking at the Silver/Red in California but I'm in Northern Cal. How much are they offering? I haven't found any Silver/Red's in my region but a few dealers are selling at MSRP if they had one. If you need recommendations on dealers let me know.

I had the same questions on the red interior.. I'm glad to here there are no problems with it.

Sounds to me like they're just trying to move the iron they've got rather than give you what you want. They can get very creative (liars) when they try to do this. Go elsewhere.

Insist on Black/Red ... No fading bullshit in my JDM, I think he's only pulling a fast one on you. Just like the bloody real estate punk dealer I was dealing with, trying to close a one million dollar deal and he only gave me a nine thousand dollar discount ... WTF?

He's feeding you a line; look for another dealership / salesman. Even if there's a potential for that to occur in sunny CA, the car hasn't been around long enough for that to happen IMO.
