He's full of it. I almost never put the top up on my Silver/Red and I've had no fade. I've owned the car since 12/99.

They're only making these for one year. You should buy this one now.
You can't buy an S2000 for MSRP. You should buy this one now.
Honda has discontinued this car for next (any next) year. You should buy this one now.
This color (ie silver/red/black/white/yellow/blue/whatever I have on the lot now) is the most wanted color. You should buy this one now.
Only last year's cars had engine/tranny/clutch/whatever problems. You should buy this one now.

Any of the above can be documented in the search function of this board.

Anyway, just buy the darned car. BTW, the black interior looks great day after day, year after year. Going on nine years with a blue-green pearl/black interior '93 Prelude.

The red interior looks just as great. You can't make a mistake with this color in any color combination.

I live most of the year in Tucson, the skin-cancer capital of the U.S. and the top is always...I mean it...always down. Has the red interior faded to pink? No. Sounds like more Honda dealer BS to me.

Sounds like a load of $hi+ to me, I'm sure other cars like corvettes are fading too and that's why they still offer red interior?!

your salesman is full of crap. find another salesman to buy from. don't give the considerable commission on the sale of one of these babies to an a$$hole like that.

Barry has it right. Total dealer BS.

Honda may do some foolish things, but they would not be so stupid as to make a roadster with red leather that fades into pink after a year in the sun. Leather finishing and manufacturing techniques eliminated this problem long ago.

Like the other guys said, Black is THE color.
