Cool thought it was a leaf.

driving down the road yesterday in some of the nice storms we've been having, and i'm following a trashy old van, i'm behind this guy for about five minutes, and i see something fly over my car, that looked like a leaf. didn't think twice about it, and then when i get to my friends house, i go inside, and about an hour later he asks me "where's the emblem from the front of your car?" i responded like he was an idiot, "right in front of the hood" i go to look and there's no emblem, apparently what i thought was a leaf was my front "H" emblem flying off at 75 mph. i ordered a new one last night after i got home for about 13 bucks, so i'm not too disappointed.

has anyone else experienced this? haha. i was kinda pissed.

Front bumper ever been repainted? The clips that secure the front emblem are tough as crap I cant see them coming off on their own. Weird.

bumper's never been removed as far as i can tell. that's why i thought it was weird. there's a black strip on top and bottom of the two holes for the clips. so i think it's happened before.

Yeah, that happened to me too. I bought some replica emblems and I guess the adhesive was crap so on the highway, the thing just flew off.

I had a hell of a time getting my emblems off when I removed them.. actually think I ended up breaking the front one in half during the process. Just get some emblem adhesive from your local parts store and apply very lightly when re-applying the new one.
