If you get a front replacement it has two tabs. behind the front bumper, there are clips that connect to the tabs. my front H is 'loose' but it wont ever come off because of the clips.

any good fixes? b/c i don't think i'm going to trust just some random double backed tape and the clips. any ideas?
The OEM front is not held on with just tape, there are two metal clips that secure it in place over two plastic pins that go through the locater holes in the front clip. I know this for a fact because I had to remove the OEM badge in order to replace it with a black chrome version, after some assswipe stole the logo off my trunk lid...

Chances are very good you can stop the wiggle.
The metal clips that go over the two plastic locater pins are a friction fit.
If you can get you hand into that space, you should be able to hold the badge down with one hand and then with the other hand push the clip tight to the under side of the bumper.
Good luck, I know all too well just how tight it is in there to get your hand.

^sounds like a plan. Im probably going to remove the front bumper again soon. I actually need to buy another front bumper because its cracked and someone attempted to fix it with bondo. I want to shave the front if I do purchase a new bumper .

this may be the reason mine fell off, there was 3 previous owners to the car, and i have the black / chrome logos for my car.

funny thing is, is that i was going to replace the front logo anyway, b/c there was a scratch / gouge in the logo.

i'm a small guy [ 5'6" 120 lbs ] so i'm sure i can get my hand to where you're talking about under where the logo goes to attach the clips to the pins.

Could the gouge be the result of someone trying to pry your emblem off?

it's possible that it could've been from someone trying to steal the emblem. but it was on the H of the logo, just like a surface scratch. about the size of your nail. i'd show you a pic, but i don't have the emblem anymore! haha.

i've only owned the car since feb 20, 2009, so i really couldn't tell you the history of the car other than the carfax report. haha.
